A classic of the Southern region of Apulia. Best served with a good tomato sauce.

'Orecchiette' literally means little ears. This full-bodied disc shape allows it to perfectly capture the sauce. This pasta is made with 100% durum semolina wheat and water from the springs of Mount Vesuvius to preserve natural flavours. Due to its array of health benefits (it's rich in proteins and other macro-nutrients) and its particularly good cooking qualities, durum wheat has been an integral part of Mediterranean gourmet cuisine for centuries. 

Gragnano, in the Campania region, has been the heart of production for artisanally-made durum wheat pasta for centuries. 

La Fabbrica della Pasta di Gragnano is an historic producer, and now the new generation of the family is continuing the tradition that made this pastificio famous for their incredible quality in the art of pasta making.

To keep our pasta fresh we use DPD to deliver your order, so that you can choose a delivery date that works for you. 

You'll be asked to choose your delivery date at the checkout and DPD will contact you directly once your order has been dispatched, so that you can track your package.

Please choose a delivery date when you know you will be available during the day to receive your order. DPD will give you a delivery window the morning of your delivery, but those time slots are at their discretion.

We do understand however that life is busy and sometimes you have to pop out. If that's case, please choose the 'deliver to a safe place' or 'deliver to a neighbour' option on the DPD website.

If you're not in to sign for your order and one of the alternative delivery options was not selected, we're afraid that - as our pasta is a perishable item - the courier is required to destroy your order.

Your gluten free pasta is delicious - even my gluten-eater husband doesn't mind eating it! It cooks in a few minutes just like 'normal' pasta, has a good bite and is very tasty. I only wish you sold bigger packs.
