Pasta Di Aldo was described by Heston Blumenthal in his BBC series 'In Search of Perfection' "as the finest pasta in Italy".
On visiting Luigi's pasta production Heston describes the pasta as "the most textured pasta I'd ever felt: it was speckled with semolina and almost like bark to the touch. That and its superb colour made it really enticing, something you'd want to cook and eat as soon as you caught sight of it, which is surely one benchmark of perfect food.
