I didn’t read the packet and put the gnocchi straight in the freezer - it lasts a month in the vacuum pack and can just be heated in whatever sauce you’re making. I cooked it from frozen so it did break up a bit in the water - it did however taste really good. Lesson learnt.
I love these little parcels of delight fried in a mixture of olive oil and butter - sometimes if I've left them in the pan a little too long they burst - then the cheese gets delightfully sticky. It's not a light dish, but if you like warming solid food then you can't go wrong!
